A new limited edition ‘work of art’ with a striking structure and ‘floating’ lens effect
With temples resembling a double-pronged tuning fork, the new Aalto sunglasses from FACE A FACE are characterized by a striking double-hinge design, a unique feature that they say required particular technical innovation and precision. Balancing his craftsmanship and technological skills, the resulting design is commanding and glamorous, with the lines of the frame curvilinearly wrapping around the face.Above: the model wears the Aalto that references the music – in the unusual structure of the ‘diapason’ temple and the ‘musical’ frame name

FACE A FACE is always bold and innovative with colour, and combinations are stylishly explored in Aalto design, where a wide variety of combinations include black and patterned black acetate, white and patterned tortoise; acetate and hot pink with ‘tortoise’ stamped acetate.

The details are also interesting with the temples featuring small rivets that match a gold core on the elegant acetate, adding to the delicacy of the shape, which is both structural and graphic.
The frames are exclusively produced in Italy by hand and come in two versions, one with a panto front and a second with a larger square eye shape. For more information on the new 2022 collection, visitwww.faceaface-paris.com
