The French brand of reading glasses Izipizi has launched glasses with GoodNight© lenses, designed to promote restful sleep
The independent eyewear brand Izipizi (Paris) has launched a collection of eyewear called Sleeping, with lenses that block artificial light and stimulate melatonin production. The company says that if used around two hours before bed for 15 consecutive days, the user can experience the best results and sleep better. The lenses are designed to help the body naturally stimulate and promote the production of the sleep hormone and were developed in collaboration with an optometric researcher.

Flat lenses are available in two of Izipizi’s best-selling frame styles: – a panto and a square shape – and are made from “a bio-based material” composed of 45% castor oil. Based on the results of the tests*, the Izipizi team states that the results showed that after 5 days, the time it takes to fall asleep is halved and the sleep is deeper and probably longer “ ;fixer”.

*The study was conducted in 300 people with mild to regular sleep disorders who wore glasses for 15 days, 2 hours before bed.For more information, visitwww.izipizi.com
